Hello everyone!
I'm totally psyched for us to get Fired Up for the year in LiveWire Youth! Some of you might know that one of my favorite books of the Bible is Timothy. Timothy was the same age as many of our youth groupers when he began his ministry.
As you start the school year, remember this quote from 1 Timothy: 4-12: "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
It's sometimes hard to stick to what we believe in middle school or high school (and even later). Remember that you have a team of adults and friends cheering you on to keep your relationship with Jesus growing!

Worship in the Park. Join OUMC and the Oxford community at 10:30 in the Uptown Park for music, worship, food, fun, and service. Remind your families (and yourselves!) to bring items for the dry pantry.
